Wellbeing
We are aware of and understand our own feelings and thoughts, as well the feelings of those around us. We are kind to ourselves and others. We model random acts of kindness within and beyond our school community. We are outstanding team players. We are helpful and proud when our team achieves together.
Stand Up Project
Barayip Primary School is committed to empower students, educators, and families with the knowledge to identify behaviours associated with bullying and strategies to respond effectively.
Barayip Primary School, together with the Stand Up Project provide practical tools and approaches to foster a supportive school environment. We expect all students, educators and families to engage with us in creating a safer school community for everyone.
Extra Curricular
At Barayip Primary School, we are proud to offer a range of extra curricular experiences for our students. We believe extra curricula experiences has a positive impact on student wellbeing, engagement or achievement.
Extra curricular experiences at Barayip are offered at a range of times before, during and after school. We encourage all families and students to express their interests for extra curricula experiences to an Educator, especially as we build upon these opportunities to cater for the individual interests and strengths of all students.
Our students have already engaged in an Art Workshop with Kobi Sainty. Together they collaborated to create our first piece of significant art for our school. This involved story telling, learning of Bunurong language, critical thinking, problem solving and creativity.

Currently, small group instrumental music lessons are available. Please make contact with Soundgarage direct if you are interested. Scholarships are available for families who wish to express interest.
